The
folks at Homeygrown believe in creative expression,
and as a creative network, we try to nurture that within ourselves.
But it don't stop with just our artists...
EVERYONE is an artist at heart!!
Homeygrown will try to stimulate your creative side with some hands-on
activities that every artist can participate in! Here are our current
projects that will hopefully boost your creative energies:
MAG-COLLAB:
This is a collaborative art effort for a good cause. Donate
your art, quote, saying, song quote or whatever it is you
feel and put it on a recycled carboard magnet that we provide.
Donated
magnets will be sold for a $1 donation, and all proceeds will
go to Save
the Children to benefit programs for the youth who have
been affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Not
only are you expressing yourself through creation, but you
are GIVING your creative energy out and indirectly helping
for a good cause!
and
for the magnet consumer, you get to take home something created
by someone else, RECEIVING their creative energy....and the
magnet is a constant reminder of your kind donation! |

SCRAP
DESIGN:
Individuality
is so important, which is why we want to offer an outlet to
create your own design on a piece of scrap t-shirt!
We
provide the scrap, permanent fabric markers, and we leave
the creativity up to YOU! Express yourself!
Once
finished, you can sew, glue, or pin your design patch onto
anything: an old t-shirt, a sweater, a notebook, it's up to
you!
