I've
been sewing and redesigning for over 5 years now. It all started
as a way for me to create my own style using already salvaged materials.
I want to make my own statement with my clothing by going against
the commercial fashion industry that has made its mark by exploiting
resources, workers, and even consumers. Almost all of my one-of-a-kind
pieces are recreated from salvaged and recycled materials, making
them artiffacts within themselves! I always try to tell a story
of what the item used to be, to show that something good can be
recreated out of something totally different!
